St Joseph's College for Women (Autonomous), situated at Gnanapuram, in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, is an aided women’s college. The college was established in the year 1958 to cater the value based higher education for the women of Gnanapuram and its nearby areas. The college is well equipped with all modern amenities within a nice and spacious campus. Affiliated to Andhra University, St Joseph's College for Women is managed by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, France.
The college is also conferred with the Autonomous status in 1987 by UGC and accredited with a Three Star status by NAAC in 2001. The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subject. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
The graduates in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible for the M Sc in those subjects respectively.
