The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one from Chemistry/ Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology as optional subject.
For lateral entry-
The candidates, who have passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology of 3 years or more (after 10) or 2 years (after 10+2) from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate, are eligible. Or the applicant should have passed B. Sc. with mathematics as a subject of study and should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.
BBA/BCA
The applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline, from a recognized Board.
Post Graduate:
MCA
The candidate should have completed his/her graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution, with mathematics as a subject of study either at 10+2 or at graduation level. Or he/she should have done BCA at graduation level.
MBA
The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution, with minimum 50% marks.
Or
The applicant should have passed in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Admission under the Lateral Entry scheme is done on the basis of scores obtained by the candidate in Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET).
BBA /BCA
Admission is made directly on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination.
