Shekhawati Engineering College is located in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is a prominent center for higher studies in technical courses in the state of Rajasthan. The college came into existence in 2003. It is promoted by Satwic Jeewanshala Trust. The college is affiliated to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Admissions to the B Tech course are routed through RPET / AIEEE entrance tests. 70% of seats are filled through RPET exam conducted by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. 15% seats are filled through AIEEE test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and the rest 15% seats are reserved for management category.
