The college was started in 1988 under the administration of Sundaravel Sivaguru Charitable Trust and Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari Trust. The college is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.
Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy Sivakasi is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. Undergraduate:
To be eligible, one has to pass 10+2 level of examination with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics, from any recognized state/national Board.
Diploma:
The candidates must have passed 12th standard of examination with PCB/PCM group of science subjects, from any recognized Board.
Post Graduate:
Graduation in relevant stream is mandatory to be eligible for this programme.
