Minimum educational qualification required is a pass in (10+2) or any other equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and with 45% (40% for reserved category) of aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biotechnology.
Diploma Holders in appropriate branch of Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka or any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent thereto by this University, are also eligible for admission.
Post Graduate:

Candidates need to have a technical degree BE/B Tech from VTU or equivalent in the relevant discipline to secure admission.
MCA
Applicants should have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree Level.
Doctorate:
The candidates need to have passed Master's level of examination in the relevant stream.
