Rama Institute of Technology, located in Kanpur, is a self financing and co-educational technical institution. The institute was established with a vision of imparting technical education among the young aspirants. The institute conducts B Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. RIT is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and the courses offered are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the B Tech courses in various branches offered here.
To be eligible for the lateral entry into B Tech IInd year course, the candidates must have completed their diploma in respective branches or B Sc in Mathematics.
