Located in Ratnagiri (Maharashtra), Rajaram Shinde College of Engineering came into existence in 1993, under the guidance of Mandar Education Society. It is affiliated to University of Mumbai and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra. The college provides technical skills to the students in various disciplines at undergraduate degree level. Rajaram Shinde College of Engineering holds the distinction of being awarded with B+ grade, by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The autonomous college aims to impart latest technological education along with modern facilities to the aspirants, in order to develop them as proficient technocrats who can deal with the ever-emerging trends in the field.

The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at first attempt, from a recognized Board. Relaxation of 5% is there for candidates belonging to reserved category. Or, the applicant should have secured minimum 50% in Diploma in engineering/technology, from a recognized institution.
Under lateral entry scheme- the applicants, who have secured minimum 60% marks in diploma in engineering/technology, are eligible.
