PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1985 under the PSG Trust on its 60th anniversary. It is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Bangalore. The institute is aimed at giving good training to produce qualified and competent doctors. PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has received approval of Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Undergraduate:
Applicants should have passed 10+2 in sciences stream with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized board. In case of SC/St, 5 % can be relaxed for candidates. Minimum and Maximum age limit is 17 years to 35 years for applying to the all available UG course. Upper age limit can be relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.
Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates must have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have at least experience of 2 years in medically underserved areas, recognized as such by this institution.
Post Graduate:
Applicants should have passed MBBS with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized board. In case of SC/St, 5 % can be relaxed for candidates.
Doctorate:
Candidates should have Passed MD/ MS From recognized Medical College with at least 50 % aggregate.
