PES College of Engineering Mandya is one of the important institutions for higher education in technical courses in the state of Karnataka. The college, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum, is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct technical courses at various levels.
PES College of Engineering Mandya is working under the grant-in-aid scheme of Government of Karnataka. PES College of Engineering came into existence in 1962, when it was established by PES Education Trust. Within its sprawling campus that is spread over 62 acres of land, the college provides all the basic amenities that are required for quality learning.

Undergraduate:
For admission in UG courses, the applicants should have done pre-university with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
Candidates must have done BE / B Tech in the relevant fields.
MCA
Applicants require a degree with 50% marks in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Program/Computer Applications/Business Maths/Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at degree level.
MBA
Candidates must have done graduation.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
65% seats are filled on the basis of CET conducted by Government of Karnataka while 35% seats are filled through COMED-K/AIEEE.
Entrance Test: Karnataka CET, AIEEE Exam, COMEDK UGET
Post Graduate:
MTech
Candidates with GATE score are given preference for admission. Non-GATE candidates must have appeared in PGCET.
MBA/MCA
On 50% seats candidates are admitted on the basis of PGCET conducted by Government of Karnataka while for the other 50% seats, candidates are admitted through KMAT/PGCET/MAT candidates under Management Quota.
