Nandha College of Pharmacy, located in Erode, started its first academic session in 1992. Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, the college has got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Tamil Nadu. The college of pharmacy has also gained the recognition from Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. Working under the guidance and sponsorship of Sri Nandha Educational Trust, Nandha College of Pharmacy offers courses at different degree levels. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/ Botany and Zoology taken together. Candidates with 50% aggregate marks in 1st and 2nd year of D. Pharm course along with pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/ Botany and Zoology taken together at 10+2 level or vice-versa are eligible for lateral entry.
Diploma:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/ Botany and Zoology as mainstream subjects.
Post Graduate:
Candidates with B. Pharm degree of any recognized University are eligible.
Doctorate:
PhD
Candidates with Pass in M. Pharm degree of any recognized University are eligible.
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
A Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology as optional subject from a recognized Board is required. Or Candidate with pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is also eligible.
