MVJ College of Engineering is located in Bangalore - the capital city of Karnataka. The college came into existence in 1982. Ever since it’s modest beginning, the institution has been making all efforts to provide quality education in technical courses. MVJ College of Engineering is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
The courses offered by MVJ College of Engineering are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Currently, the college offers all the basic amenities within its campus that spreads over an area of 15 acres of land. It is run by Venkatesha Education Society, a linguistic minority institution.

Undergraduate:
Candidates must have passed the second year Pre-University or 10+2 standard or equivalent examination held before the Entrance Test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the subjects in Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics. English should be one of the languages in 10+2. The applicants, who have passed a qualifying examination other than the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka, can also apply. Those who have done Engineering Diploma Examinations of the Board of Technical Education of Karnataka, are required to obtain valid eligibility certificate.
Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech
Enrolment in PG courses is open for the applicants who have passed the Bachelor degree examinations with not less than 50% of the aggregate marks. In the case of candidates belonging to SC / ST and Category I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be below 45%.
MCA
Candidates should have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the electives at undergraduate level.
MBA
Applicants must have done Graduation from any recognized University.
Undergraduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of Karnataka Common Entrance Test.

Members of Teaching/Research Staff/Teaching Assistants working in engineering colleges recognized by AICTE having a minimum of three years of teaching experience on full time basis in Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic institutes or any other Institutions can be admitted under sponsored quota. Candidates with two years of experience can also be admitted against sponsored quota.

Candidates are admitted on the basis of PGCET score.
