Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad was founded in 1961 by the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute was previously known as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Allahabad. In 2002, MNNIT Allahabad got the status of Deemed University. The institute conducts various degree programmes in the engineering field at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Undergraduate:
Minimum qualification for the UG courses is that the candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent. Those candidates who are appearing in this exam are also eligible.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
To be eligible, the candidate should have Bachelors degree in the relevant field, from any recognized University.
M Sc
The aspirant should have Bachelors degree in Science or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects with 60% marks.
MCA
Graduation in B.Sc or its equivalent with Maths or Computer Science as one of the subjects with 60% of marks is must for the admission in this programme.
MBA
Candidates should have passed graduation in any stream, from any recognized University.
