All the eligible candidates should be passed in HSC / 10+2 examinations in science stream with PCM group obtaining 50% (45% for reserve category candidates of Maharashtra state) marks.

Admissions are held through common entrance test, MHT-CET and AIEEE. The institute also fills some seats under management quota by itself.
