Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College (MLBMC) is a prestigious medical college located at Jhansi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The institute is affiliated to University of Bundelkhand, Bundelkhand. Most of the courses offered by Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College are recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) .There are various courses, which are offered by the MLBMC. Established in 1948, it was started to provide medical assistance to the underprivileged section of the society.
The Hospital of Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College provides complete remedial services to the citizens of Bundelkhand division of Uttar Pradesh and the four adjoining districts of Madhya Pradesh. The college campus is spread over an extensive area, covering as much as 380 acres. This makes it the largest medical college in terms of area, in the country.
