Established in 1979, MS Ramaiah Medical College is a well known educational institution located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college was initially affiliated to Bangalore University. It is now affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). 80% of the seats are allotted by merit selection based on the Entrance test conducted, followed by the centralized counseling. This is applicable only to the Indian nationals.

The candidates are to appear in an entrance test and on the basis of the marks obtained a merit list is formed and students with valid scores are offered admission.
