Students should has Passed in PUC or 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and with 45% of aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biotechnology.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
Candidate need to have a technical degree BE/B Tech from VTU or equivalent in the relevant discipline to secure admission.
MBA
Admission to MBA courses is open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
MCA
For admission to MCA the candidates should have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree Level.

Applicant is required to appear for an entrance test like KCET or COMEDK or AIEEE to secure admission.

Post Graduate:
M Tech
Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted by VTU for Admission to M Tech Courses in Karnataka Universities. GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission however they are exempted from appearing for the written test.
MBA/ MCA
Applicants must have appeared for the PGCET or KMAT entrance. The Karnataka PGCET is being conducted under the supervision of Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) by VTU for the purpose of admission.
