Kurnool Medical College, which is located in Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh), is one of the oldest and prominent medical colleges in the state. The college started functioning in 1957 and it was established by the State Government. Kurnool Medical College has been affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University. Kurnool Medical College is combined with Government General Hospital, Kurnool. The hospital is associated with the college as the teaching hospital for the students of the college.
Kurnool Medical College is also attached with a NCC unit and it has been recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Currently, Kurnool Medical College runs various courses in the Medical field at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
