KNGD Modi Engineering College (KNGDMEC), which came into being in 2005, has been set up by Dr KN Modi Foundation. Kedar Nath Ginni Devi Modi Engineering conducts Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes in several streams. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow.

Applicants should have passed 10+2 / HSC examination from any recognized board in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects in Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science. For lateral entry, the candidates must have passed three years diploma course in engineering course securing minimum 60% marks in total or three years B Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects obtaining 60% marks.
Undergraduate:
Admissions are completed through State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) under UP Technical University, Lucknow and All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). The candidates who appear in AIEEE or secure minimum 60% in PCM at 10+2 level are admitted under management quota.
