Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, located in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh, started serving the field of education in 1980. The college has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and is affiliated to Kakatiya University. The institute conducts undergraduate and postgraduate courses in several disciplines. It is one of the premier institutions not only in the field of science and technology, but also of management. Over the years, numerous reputed organizations have visited the institution for selecting students for their organization. Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in late 1970s, considering the need of institutes providing quality education along with state-of-the-art facilities, required by the engineering aspirants. The eligible candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects of study. For lateral entry, diploma in related field of engineering is necessary.
