For admission in first year to engineering courses the eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
For admission to second year the applicants should have passed diploma in engineering from a recognized university or board.

Admissions are done on the merit basis of Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by Punjab Technical University and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
Admissions to second year are made under the lateral entry scheme.
