Faculty of Engineering & Technology is a part of Agra College, which has been functioning since 1823. The college functioned as a Government run institution until 1883, when its managerial duties were transferred to a Board of Trustees and a Government Mandated Committee, both approved by the Government of India. The college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Agra College is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. With a view to establish its name in the field of higher education in India, Agra College added one more department to its list - the Faculty of Engineering & Technology - in 1999. The Faculty of Engineering & Technology is also recognized by AICTE and affiliated to UPTU. The Faculty provides quality education, which are laid down by AICTE. It is offering courses in various branches of Engineering.
