East Point College of Engineering & Technology is located in Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. The college functions under the aegis of MG Charitable Trust. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Aspiring students should have passed PUC II or 10+2 or Intermediate from a recognised board, with 45% aggregate in Physics, chemistry and mathematics as optional subject.
Post Graduate:
Admission are open to students who have passed BE / B Tech examinations (in relevant field of engineering) from VTU or any other University / Institution or any other examinations recognised as equivalent thereto. He/She should have scored minimum 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.

Admissions are conducted through written entrance test KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) or COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) or AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted every year by various test agencies.

Post Graduate:
M Tech
Applicants need to go through an Entrance Examination for admission. Admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination, merit of the qualifying examinations and performance in the interview. The candidates, who are qualified in GATE examinations for the appropriate branch of engineering, are given priority. They are exempted from taking Entrance Examination with other candidates.
