Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH) Kanpur is a government engineering institute. The government of U.P. established Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology for Handicapped (A.I.T.H.) in Kanpur in 1997 under World Bank associated project-Technical Education.
Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, UPTU, Lucknow. The Undergraduate level course is open for all where as the diploma level course is exclusively for handicapped.

The eligible candidate should be 10+2 passed from any recognized board in Science (PCM) stream.
Diploma:
For computer science & engineering and Architecture Assistantship (duration 3 years) The minimum academic qualification to appear in JEE is High School.
For Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice ( 2 years duration), the min academic qualification to appear in JEE Intermediate ( in High School / Intermediate Hindi & English is Compulsory ) from UP-Board or equivalent.
