College of Engineering Ambajogai has established itself as one of the renowned institutions for technical education in Maharashtra. The institute is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Currently, the college conducts courses at undergraduate level that include various branches of engineering. The courses conducted by College of Engineering Ambaijogai have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi.
Mahatma Basaveshwar Education Society founded College of Engineering Ambajogai, in 1993. Mahatma Basaveshwar Education Society is active in educational, economical, social and cultural fields in Maharashtra. The Society came into existence in Latur, in 1963. College of Engineering Ambajogai works with the mission to uplift the student community in the rural parts of Maharashtra, by offering them the most advanced courses in Engineering.

All the candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with English as a subject in 10+2 standard or equivalent examination in one attempt.

Candidates residing in Maharashtra are admitted on the basis of their performance in MHTCET. 50% seats of total intake are open for the candidates from outside of Maharashtra. These students are taken in on the basis of AIEEE score. NRI students are admitted on 5% of the total seats.
