Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET) is located in Davangere, Karnataka. The college was established in 1979-1980, by Bapuji Educational Association. The Government of Karnataka has given the approval to the college, in order to conduct technical courses in different branches of engineering.
Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. Courses offered by BIET Davangere are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
