Bharatratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, also called BIGCE, is one of the recent entrants among the institutions providing technical courses in Maharashtra. Located in Solapur, Bharatratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering was established in 2006. It is an unaided private college that is run by Kai Sushilatai Gaikwad Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha (KSGBS).

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks on with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. For Bio-Medical Engineering, Biology is needed as an additional subject). The requirement for BC candidates is 45% marks. Candidates having a diploma in concerned branch of engineering, with minimum 50% marks, can also apply.
Direct second year entry is permissible for the candidates who have passed diploma in respective branch of engineering, securing minimum 60% marks.
Post Graduate:
MCA
Candidates need Bachelor's degree with minimum 45% marks having Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects, at 10+2 level or graduation.
MBA
Applicant should be a Graduate in any discipline, with minimum 45% marks. BC candidates from Maharashtra need to have scored only 40%.
