Balasore College of Engineering & Technology came into existence in 2001 under the aegis of Fakir Mohan Educational and Charitable Trust. The institution is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (B.P.U.T.) to conduct four-year full-time undergraduate courses in various branches of engineering along with postgraduate degree course in Computer Applications and Business Administration. Located in Balasore (Orissa), the college has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) - New Delhi. The college is also recognized by Government of Orissa. With the aim to produce proficient technocrats, Balasore College of Engineering & Technology provides platform to the students, where they can acquire quality education through professionals of the field.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with Physics, Mathematics as subjects of study.
Post Graduate:
The candidates must have passed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. For MCA, the candidates are required to study Mathematics either at 10+2 or at graduation level.

Admissions are based on Orissa JEE scores of the candidates. For 30% seats CET or AIEEE rank can be taken into consideration.
