The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one from Chemistry/ Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology as optional subject.
The candidates, who have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate in three years, diploma in Engineering/Technology from the State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent examination are eligible to seek admission under lateral entry scheme. Or, the applicants should have done B. Sc with mathematics as a subject of study and should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate

Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Admission under Lateral Entry scheme is done on the basis of Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET) scores obtained by the candidates.
