Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Applicant is required to have passed the PUC II / 10+2 / Intermediate/ Equivalent from any board recognized by VTU, with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. He/She should also have studied English as a language.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
Applicant must hold a technical degree BE or B Tech in relevant specialisation with an aggregate of 50% marks.
MBA
Student should have passed a Bachelor's degree examination from a recognized board.
MCA
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in any branch. He/She must have studied Mathematics / Statistics /Computer Science/ Business Management/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming /Electronics at the 10+2 or Degree level.

Admissions are conducted through written entrance test KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) or COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) or AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) held every year by various test agencies.

Post Graduate:

Aspiring candidates should write PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by VTU Belgaum. GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission by VTU. GATE score holders are exempted from appearing for the written test.
MBA
Students should have appeared for any of the following entrance tests MAT / CAT / JMET/ATMA or PGCET for securing admission.
MCA
Applicant needs to appear for PGCET test for admission in MCA course.
