Al-Ameen Medical College is located in a wide-spread area of over 200 acres of land in Bijapur, Karnataka. The college started functioning in 1984. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, and the courses offered by it have the approval of Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. Al-Ameen Medical College works under the aegis of Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust, which was started in 1979. The college conducts undergraduate level programme in the field of medical sciences - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Apart from UG course, the college also offers postgraduate level programme in the same field - MD & MS along with diploma level course in several streams of medical sciences. Undergraduate:
The candidate must have passed second PUC exam conducted by Karnataka or any other equivalent examination, with English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as the main subjects, with minimum of 50% marks. The candidate should be 17 years olds, as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Diploma:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, from a recognized board.
Post Graduate:
The candidate must have passed MBBS from a recognized university or college.
