Acharya Institute of Technology, located in Bangalore, came into existence in 2000. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. Currently, Acharya Institute of Technology offers technical courses, with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Moreover, it has gained accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for offering high standards of education, ever since its inception. At present, the college offers undergraduate course in seven streams of engineering and postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Application (MCA). The modern facilities provided to the students, in the campus, help them to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of engineering.

Applicants must have passed the 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. He/She should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Electronics and Information Science.
Post Graduate:
MBA
Candidate should hold a Bachelors Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages, if any.
MCA
For admission to MCA, the candidate shall have passed Bachelors degree with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree Level.
