Pulmonary Medicine is a branch of medical science, which deals with the causes, prevention and treatment of problems related to lungs. Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pulmonary Medicine is a fulltime three-year post graduate degree course. During the course, the student learns about diagnostics and treatments, such as bronchodilator, inhalers etc. The candidates with an MBBS degree from a recognized institute, who have registered permanently with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Councils, are eligible for this MD course.
