Vikrama Simhapuri University, located in the historical town of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, was established to fulfill the dreams of the local people for having a separate university for the region. Headquartered at Nellore, the University has its educational jurisdiction spanning across an area of 10 miles around the region of Nellore. Vikrama Simhapuri has derived its name from Andhra literature of 12th century AD.
Educational Streams
Vikrama Simhapuri University offers several courses in conventional, non-conventional and career oriented fields. The university takes utmost care to updates the syllabus and also introduce new courses. Subjects like Disaster Management are part of the curriculum of Master of Social Work (MSW). Curriculum of these courses has been designed keeping in view the scope for development and the resources available in the region. The university conducts job-oriented courses like Business Management (MBA) and Computer Application (MCA).

Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore, was established to fulfill the long-cherished dream of the people of Nellore district.
Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU), Nellore, on July 23, 2012, announced the result of B Tech I Semester exam.
