Siksha O Anusandhan University (SOA) was established with the objective of promoting professional education, research, training and development in areas of engineering, management, computer and medical sciences. It is located in the city of Bhubaneswar in Orissa. SOA university has set up eight institutions at under its banner.
Educational Streams
Siksha O Anusandhan University has established several Schools under it, which are independent in nature and offer graduate, postgraduate and research programs in several contemporary branches of education that includes technical, medical, business administration, management, etc.
These schools have introduced a learning ambience that is flexible and suitable for dissemination of knowledge in the classroom, sessions at laboratories / workshops and research in upfront areas. It follows the guiding principle of progressive innovation in education, administration and social responsibility.

Majority of the programmes offered by the University are either accredited or approved by NBA, AICTE, MCI, DCI, PCI and INC. Post Graduate programmes such as M Tech (Engineering), Master of Computer Application, MBA, MHTM, M Pharma etc also are offered here. Under Graduate Programs include B Tech (Engineering), MBBS, BHMCT, B Pharma, BDS, BSc Nursing and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology.
Facilities
Siksha O Anusandhan University has established several institutes under it. These institutes have state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. Facilities include library with books, journals and publications. The students and employees of the University are covered under Group Insurance facility. It facilitates extra-curricular activities like NCC, NSS, yoga, sports, art and culture, etc.
History
In the year 2007, Siksha O Anusandha (SOA) University was granted the status of a University by the University Grant Commission under U/S 3 of UGC Act 1956. All the schools functioning under the banner of the University have seen considerable progress in terms of knowledge skills, human resources and material resources.
