Yashwant Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya, located in Kolhapur (Maharashtra), is among the known institutes of the state. The educational institution is affiliated to Shivaji University and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal. The premier college came into existence in 1990. One year of full-time undergraduate degree level course of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is conducted by the autonomous college. Working under the guidance and sponsorship of Shri Yashwant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Yashwant Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya, offers all the basic facilities to its students.
