Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is one of the premier management institutes of India. XIMB Bhubaneswar came into existence in 1987, with the efforts of Government of Orissa and the Jesuit Society. It is managed by a Governing Board consists with Jesuit Society, State government, Government of India, and well known industrialists and educationists. XIMB boasts of world-class infrastructure. It has one of the most technology-intensive campuses in India.
Although Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar is an autonomous institution - it is not affiliated to any university - the two year Post-Graduate Diploma course in Business Management, offered by it, is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Moreover, the course has been considered equivalent to an MBA degree of an Indian University. Due to its autonomous status, XIMB Bhubaneshwar doesn't grant degree. The institute provides adequate infrastructure to the students

Eligibility:
Post Graduate Diploma:
The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized University. For the part time and weekend courses, experience of at least 3 years is also required.
Post Graduate:
For the course of PGCBM, the aspirants should have three year bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any subject recognized by the Association of Indian Universities with at least two years of work experience.
Doctorate:
The aspirants must have done their Master’s in any subject related to Management with minimum 55% marks and at least two years of work experience.

The selection in this program is based on the interview of the candidate.
Post Graduate Diploma:
XAT entrance test is taken out for this program. However, for the candidate of Part time program, group discussion and personal interview are held. For the weekend program, the selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview, academic performance, and work experience.

The selection of the candidate is on basis of the CAT/UGC/NET/XAT or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT).
