Walchand Institute of Technology (WIT) is located in Solapur/Sholapur, Maharashtra. Established in 1983, it is the only engineering college in Solapur. The institute is managed and run by Shri Aillak Pannalal Digambar Jain Pathashala Trust. Walchand Institute of Technology is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi.
