Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital, located in Bangalore/Bengaluru, came into being in 1986. The dental college is managed by Vokkaligara Sangha, which is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act. Recognized by the Dental Council of India in 1992, Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital was initially affiliated to Bangalore University. At present, it is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital aims to impart high quality of education in the field of dentistry. The college imparts undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dental science, which are BDS and MDS, respectively. BDS is a five-year course, with one year of compulsory rotary internship, whereas MDS lasts for three years. The college provides modern facilities to its students, to ensure their overall development.

The candidates must have passed in PUC Examination or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% of marks from any recognized Board. Alternatively, the person, who has done B.Sc degree from any recognized University, can also apply.

The candidates, applying for the PG course, must have done BDS, from any recognized University.
