Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) Pune was established in the year 1983 and is financed and maintained by the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust, Pune. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidate should have done higher secondary examination or 10+2 successfully with minimum of 50% marks held by the CBSE or the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Post Graduate:
To be eligible, the candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in BE/B.Tech from any relevant field.
Master in Computer Applications
The candidates must have cleared Graduation with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate ( 40% in case of backward candidates from Maharashtra State only) in any subject recognized by the Association of Indian Universities and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination (not for the BCA students).
Doctorate:
Master’s degree in the relevant field is mandatory to be eligible for this doctoral program.

The admission is on the basis of the MHT-CET entrance examination or valid AIEEE score of the candidate.

Post Graduate:
The candidates with score in the GATE are given preferential to get admission in the PG programs.

The admission is taken out through MAH-MCA-CET or AIMCET in accordance with the norms of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.
