VINS Christian College of Engineering, located in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, is a Christian minority institution. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct undergraduate courses in various branches of engineering and technology along with post graduate program in business administration and computer application. VINS Christian College of Engineering has gained the affiliation of Anna University, Chennai. The college is among the fastest growing institute of its field in the state. The candidates must have 10+2 passed with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry obtaining the set qualifying percentage in the qualification examination. The candidates from OC 60% marks average, BC 55% average, MBC / DNC 50% average and SC / ST only pass is a pre-requisite for admission in the first year of undergraduate programs. Diploma holders can make direct entry in the second year of the undergraduate program incase the possession of set qualification.
Post Graduate:
MCA
The applicant should possess Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science as one of the subjects. In addition, the candidate should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 Level.
MBA
The candidates should be Graduate in any field, from a recognized university.

The admission is done through scores of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) conducted by Anna University and Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Consortium of self financing Engineering colleges. Few seats are filled according to AIEEE/CET (State conducted test/University tests)/Association conducted test).
