Vinayaka Mission's Sankarachariyar Dental College has been recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi. Established in 1986, the dental college is situated in Salem district in Tamil Nadu. The college has been considered among the premier dental colleges in the state. It is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University. The college is also attached with a multi facilitated hospital.
Vinayaka Mission's Sankarachariyar Dental College is one of the constituent colleges of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation Deemed University, Salem. The college imparts courses in dental sciences, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels - Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). It admits around 100 students every year to its courses, not only from the country, but also from all over the world.
