Aspiring students should have passed PUC II (Karnataka State Pre University Board) or 10+2 or any other examination considered equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English as one of the languages.
Candidates who have completed 3 years Engineering Diploma in the relevant disciplines with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are also eligible for admission to the Course. In case of SC/ST students, the minimum percentage of marks for admission is relaxed by 10%.
Post Graduate:
MCA:
Candidates are required to have passed graduation from a recognized University with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Programming / Computer Science / Computer Application as one of the subjects at the 10+2 or the Degree Level. He/She should have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks. In case of SC/ST Students, the minimum percentage of marks for admission is relaxed by 5%.

Applicant is required to appear for an entrance test like State KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) or COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) or AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted every year by various test agencies.
