Vaikunta Baliga College of Law came into being in 1957. Situated in Udupi (Karnataka), it is one of the educational units of Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foundation, Manipal. The law college, which is a linguistic Minority Institution, is one of the reputed and oldest law colleges in India. Vaikunta Baliga College of Law is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi for its academic programs and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is affiliated to Mangalore University. To cater to the educational requirements of the young generation, the college imparts undergraduate programs in the discipline of law - Bachelor of Laws (LLB), which are provided for both three and five years. The candidates should have done graduation from Mangalore University or any other recognized University with not less than 45% marks in aggregate in any discipline.
Integrated:
The candidates must have passed 10+2 or two year Pre-University Examination (which is conducted by Pre-University Education Board, Karnataka) or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks in aggregate, from any recognized state/national Board.
