United Institute of Management, which is located in Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), is one of the educational units of United Group of Institutions. The Group is managed and run by Shiv Ram Das Gulati Memorial Society. The institute came into being in 1997. United Institute of Management is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institute conducts postgraduate courses in the fields of management (Master of Business Administration) and computer applications (Master of Computer Applications). Both the courses are two-year full time programmes. To ensure all round development of its students, United Institute of Management has a wide range of latest facilities within its sprawling campus.
