Ujani Majuli Kherkatia (UMK) College, situated at Majuli, in Jorhat district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was established in the year 1973 to facilitate qualitative higher education for the rural students of Majuli and its nearby areas. UMK College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by UGC, under several schemes. The college is assessed and accredited with a “C+” grade certificate by NAAC.
