Swami Shraddhanand College, owes its name after Swami Shradhanand, who was an eminent Arya Samaj Educationist. The College is affiliated to the University of Delhi and is one among the constituent institutions of the university. Swami Shradhanand College comes under the trusteeship of Delhi Government. It is located in North West Delhi. The college imparts quality courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, in the all major streams of Arts, Science and Commerce. There is an environment that is supportive for the extra-curricular activities, especially for the sports. For students interested in linguistics courses, courses in French, German and Russian are offered here. Swami Shradhanand College began its journey from the Gandhi Ashram building in Narela. It encourages its students by providing scholarship to the promising students. For each subject, offered in the college, there is a society formed, with the aim to stimulate the interest of the students in the subject.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Honours
A candidate must have passed level 10+2 Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other recognized equivalent Board/Council. Also one needs to have pass marks in at least four written subjects, including one language and three elective subjects. Candidates must have a minimum percentage of marks, to say for the admission in the college, it should meet the cut off percentage.
B.A. (Pass)/ Bachelor of Commerce (Pass)
A candidate who has obtained at least 40% in aggregate in class XII examination, is eligible.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours
It needs a 10+2 pass candidate with Science, with at least 55% in aggregate.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Honours
Candidates must have passed with 60% in the aggregate and with 50% marks in Mathematics in Class XII
