Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women is a constituent part of Stanley institution, which started its journey in pre-independence era. The institutioncame into existence in 2008 with the motive to contribute in women empowerment by providing high standards of education in the engineering as well as in management courses. Affiliated to Osmania University, the self-financing college was established with the support of Methodist Church of India. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women offers technical programs at under graduate level along with post graduate Business Administration course.

Admissions to 70% of the seats are done on the basis of the candidate scores in EAMCET entrance examination while the 30% seats are under the management quota, which are filled either on the basis of EAMCET scores or on the basis of the candidates scores in qualifying examination (securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate or in PCM group.
