The college was established with the purpose of producing highly skilled engineers. Affiliated to University of Mumbai, the autonomous institution conducts four-year, full-time B. Tech program in three disciplines. St Francis Institute of Technology has got the approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct the courses.
