Sri Sarada Institute of Science & Technology is located in Nalgonda District of Andhra Pradesh. Aspirants must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in mainstream subjects from a recognized Board. Diploma holders in the related technical field can apply for admission under lateral entry scheme.

A statutory body of the Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts a state level common entrance test, EAMCET, in order to select deserving candidates. Scores of ECET are considered for admitting candidates under lateral entry scheme. NRI candidates have to score at least 50% aggregate marks in qualifying examination in order to secure admission. They are exempted from appearing in EAMCET entrance examination, their scores in qualifying exam are deciding factor.
