Candidates seeking admission in first year of BE courses should have passed 10+2/HSC examination of the State Board of High Secondary Education of Tamil Nadu, or any other equivalent examination, as approved by Anna University with 55% (OC), 50% (BC), 45% (MBC), and mere pass (SC/ST) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together. However, they should appear in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA) conducted by Anna University or any other state/national level test.
